1. Order Process
The "confirmation" stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd.

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

We do not file details of your order for you to access direct on this website, and therefore, please print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement for your own records. If you wish to obtain specific details of your previous orders please contact us.

2. Delivery
This website is only for delivery of products to customers in mainland UK, Eire and Northern Ireland addresses. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.

3. Payment
We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details, goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods within 28 days, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from:

a) While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price of cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancellled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

b) Title to any products you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.

c) All prices are shown in £'s sterling and exclude delivery charges which are added where appropriate on check out of the site. Credits of CSB's and ASB's that are allocated to your account will not incur a delivery charge.

4. Proprietary Rights
You acknowledge and agree that all content and materials available on this site are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights and laws.

Except as expressly authorized by Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd, you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish adapt, edit or create derivative works from such materials or content. Notwithstanding the above, you may print or download one copy of the materials or content on this site on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all copywrite and other proprietary notices. 7. International Use
Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd, makes no representation that materials on this site are appropriate or availabe for use in locations outside the United Kingdom. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

8. Data Retention
To use the TIS-Web service tachograph data is downloaded to the Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd, server and held there for a period of 13 months. Any data older than 13 months is automatically removed. Your data will be held as long as your subscription stays current. If your service subscription is allowed to expire all your data associated with the lapsed service will be removed. This data removal will usually occur within 2 months of your service expiring.

If you do not renew your subscription fee Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd and its partners are under no obligation to keep your data.

9. Active-X Controls -- Programs Placed Automatically On Your Computer
When you subscribe to www.TIS-Web.Co.Uk we may store some programs on your computer in the form of an Active-X Control to provide an effective service. Active-X Controls can help us in many ways; for example by allowing us to validate data entered without the need to continually transmit information. Normally you will be prompted before the control is transferred.

Your Internet browser settings determine whether your receive a warning before an Active-X Control is stored. If your Network or system settings prohibit the downloading of these components then some of our services will not operate without these controls.

10. User Names and Passwords
You are responsible for all use of the services made using your username and password, whether or not the use is made by you, or someone else using your username and password. You are responsible for protecting and securing your username and password from unauthorised use. If at any time you believe your username and password is being used by unauthorised persons please use the facilities provided to change your password and / or contact Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd.

11. Subscription Fee
Use of the www.TIS-Web.co.uk service requires payment of an annual subscription fee. The fee value is based on the amount of chart storage required in one year. Storage is sold in blocks of 250 charts called either a Chart Storage Block (CSB) or a Driver Unit.

Each CSB or Driver Unit has a lifetime of one year. When the year has expired you will be invited to renew your service subscription. At this point you may add or reduce the number of CSB's that you wish to use in the next license period. Please bear in mind the following points;

a) Unused CSB, either in whole or part, are not refunded and are not carried forward into following years.
b) If more charts are added than the purchased CSB would allow, then you will be asked to buy extra units to make up the shortfall.
c) Deleting old charts or drivers will not reclaim storage or increase the number of charts that may be entered.

12. Miscellanous Provisions
The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.

Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these terms and conditions if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

To provide increased value to our customers, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources and not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.

If any portion of these terms and conditions is held by any completent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity or enforceability of the other sections of these terms and condtions shall not be affected.

No delay or failure by Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd to exercise any powers, rights or remedies under these terms and conditions will operate as a waiver of them nor will any single or partial exercise of any such powers, rights or remedies preclude any other or further exercise of them. Any waiver to be effective must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd.

These terms and conditions including the documents or other sources referred to in these terms and conditions supersede all prior representations understandings and agreements between you and Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd relating to the use of this website (including the order of products) and sets forth the entire agreement and understanding between you and Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd for your use of this website.

13. Termination
Continental Automotive Trading Uk Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of this site, with or without notice.
